No disrepect to Mr. Monkeydungeon, but I have the Good Wear version of this jacket and I believe it to be far superior, as John uses an inset sleeve and places the armholes higher as per original military specs--much less binding and a more authentic cut. The sleeves look a bit longer than on my originals, too. Hardware looks okay, though, and not a bad price for an entry level jacket. But definitely not "1942 in a box."
