here's a little eye candy for ya laddies. this is an all original [excepting war time replaced cuffs]1942 cable raincoats from the "no name" 1942 27753 contract. it is name to c.r. "rip" de pascal, who was a captian in the 345th bg, 5th af during wwll. it is hard to see, but a faded, nearly worn off rip is painted on the left upper chest. by all accounts in his obit, he was piece of work. he was shot down three times, but continued to fly, and earned citations, and air medals , including a purple heart. after the war, he was drafted by the pittsburgh steelers, and play one year with them. he went on to teach history and coach football on the hs level, in tuscon arizona. apparently his history classes consisted of stories about his days flying in wwll. enjoy, v
