hello,

it was a pleasure to receive a rigid enveloppe today.
Ernie Lee send me this , after i talk with Stony that i wish to have a photo of Al Jones.
Ernie send me a pdf file in which are listed several pilots.
i choose two that i really enjoy; of course Al in his P-61 and another of a guy in front of his P-38.

Albert Jones in the photo posted by Marcel is wearing the 349th Night Fighter Squadron which was one of several "training" units of the 481st Night Fighter Operational Training Group that was stationed in Florida for thier training in the use of the P-61, in the posting by "Stony" in this topic section There's a photo of Al's original A-2 and he has the 414th NFS patch on it and if you look very closely at the patch you can see where the original 349th patch was painted over with his "combat" unit the 414th.

An interesting thing you don't see too often in patches, usually they were covered over by a new one .
