My first repro, and a few thanks !

Hello,

It took me a lot of time to take the decision of buying an A-2 repro.
But I finally did it.
Two main reasons :
1- a nice opportunity when UncleGrumpy (Cory) decided to sell his recent beautiful Goodwear
viewtopic.php?f=19&t=5813
2- as a collector of original jackets, I'm scared of the future of such splendid repros. In 10 or 15 years how will look these jackets if they are in bad hands, sold as originals ? That was the opportunity to own one also to know them better and prepare the future.

I really dont regret this decision !
The jacket fits me very well and the quality is incredible !

Roberto, I don't have the pleasure to know you but thank you for making such incredible patches. Amazing quality ! :shock:
And thank you John (Chapman) for making such great repros. Everything in your jackets looks so "original". I now understand why everybody here say you are the best repro maker.

It fits you perfect. I'm glad you like the patches. Roberto did a great job! I wish the jacket would have fit me
that well. If you ever want to replace the name strip with your own, I got it from here with the gold embossing.

knowing your splendid collection (of high quality)(original painted jackets) , i understand you can't wear your jacket, too risky to use as daily wearer.
now that you will enjoy your GW maybe you will have envy to buy another one

Outstanding fit!!! I really thought long and hard about that jacket when it first came up as it was one hell of a deal. The second time it came around, I didn't have the funds available. Glad it stayed here on the forum. Those patches look great too!
