My 10th G-1…..

I’m Rob and I have an addiction…to vintage leather flight jackets. My 10th G-1 arrived in the post today. Try explaining to my girlfriend why one needs 10 of these, but if the Navy will insist on making so many different versions, I’ll need to collect them all.

It’s a Werber Sportswear 7823(AER), which I believe dates from 1952.

I acquired a Navy Mark 2 life preserver recently, along with some other Navy pilots kit, so decided to set up the full attire:
