Those were the days !
Apparently there was an issue with the type of glue used in the early planes. Later they used waterproof glue.
I wonder if any got woodworm ?

I don't know what glue might have been used early on, but it accepted that the Mossie was built using Aerolite 306, which is waterproof. This glue was used later on in building the Falco and for the last 54 years not a single glue (structural) failure has ever been recorded.... Glues are like religion and best not discussed amongst builders unless they share the same 'believes'!...BTW, Aerolite rocks!!!!!
