Another thing that I noticed in the last months:
The forum is not very fast these days.... Some threads take really long to open, sometimes some of the photos are not shown at all.

Totally agree Ties. I wondered if it was just me.

In terms of the cryptoscammer blokes we're getting to the point where they're going to need their own subforum

I think Vic mentioned the other day (well somebody did anyway) about having a stay on new members for a short time and I totally agree. These fuckers obviously know they can sign up willy-nilly and then post crap. If they couldn't for a time they'll bugger off and annoy some other forum. It's just because right now that we're a soft touch that they keep on posting bullshit.

Good, well actually not good, that you had the same impression about speed.

We are a world-wide forum, so there are definitely different peak times for European and US members... Plus, in the end a modern forum should have enough bandwidth to handle more than just a couple of hundred members being online at the same time.

It's much "glitchier" if I'm on my phone - I often get the "This page has become unresponsive" which I've never had before up until a couple of weeks ago.

On my laptop it's faster but still hangs for a number of seconds after you click on something. I know it's VLJ and not me because all my other usual sites are super quick.

I totally second that. It's relative slow with mobile networks but with wlan it's worse. There are moments when the site is freezed for a few seconds up to a minute.... pretty annoying. I changed my mobile device a week ago and it's all the same here.
