Thank God the Bombardiers were accurate, the "cathédrale de la Major" is still a beautiful monument today.
I use this road every morning (it's just 15 minutes from home using the highway)

And the view of "Notre Dame de la Garde". Just before leaving the german have sunk a boat at the entry of the "vieux port" to make it unusable.

-Love the flak photo. Unbelievable how thick that stuff was. And to think that stuff all had to come down somewhere. Almost as dangerous to the civilian population as it was to the airmen.

-You sure can tell that B-15 is brand new. Probably first day wearing it!

-The first bearded pilot looks to be about 130lbs soaking wet! Did they ever eat back then? :lol:
