Make Your Own Liner Stamps, Cheap & Easy

After futzing around, I figured out a great way to make A-2 liner stamps. Grab an image, go to Zazzle, upload the image, choose a stamp, size and get the sharpness/contrast of the image & save. Works like a charm. Here are the two common ones, taken from the Signal Corps docs. The “A” stamp is for jackets inspected prior to 1942. The “AN” stamp is for 42-45. One inch square wood backed stamp with a 1/2” size marking. Someone can easily make the larger AAF winged star stamp if they wish (I don’t care for it). I paid less than 9 bucks shipped for each stamp. For free shipping, choose the free 30 day trial of Zazzle plus, then cancel. They don’t seem to mind the latter.
