There does seem to be quite a bit of variation with Luftwaffe shearling. Check the tag on this one it's Hungarian issue:

It's had replacement zips. It's well over priced too, I picked up a better one on German ebay for 400 euros.

what era is this from. I guess I should keep my eyes open on German eBay, I rather like it - although its never cold enough to wear it around my neck of the woods.
