Looking for info on the jacket in the photos

Hi - if anyone has any info on this Buco leather jacket (year, style # etc) it would be greatly appreciated. I just bought it at a yard sale.

Welcome. I'm no bike jacket expert - there are guys here who know a lot more - but I'm fairly sure Nick’s right-D-pocket Buco's like that are pretty sought after. The Japanese go nuts for them.

If it's horsehide it's almost certainly 1950s or earlier. I think it's a J-24 but that's more of a guess than anything. It's definitely a J-2x.

Honestly there are blokes around here who actually do! Unfortunately they appear to be otherwise occupied at the moment. Hopefully we can find out a bit more about your jacket - I want to know myself!
