Lewis Leathers Cyclone Jacket

The size and colour are perfect for the Japanese market - hence the price.
Thus spake several retro clothing dealer mates of mine.

Definitely a women's jacket and surely even the Japanese buyers aren't going to pay that kind of price. A few years back I found a 1960's Lewis jacket at a military fair (!) that also had had virtually no wear, a size 40, it sold for just over £450 if I recall. It might have gone for more these days but not that kind of price!

Sold a ladies one not too long ago for about £800.It was a better colour too.I will be surprised if it beaks £1K mark.

I would estimate £500 to £800 if the seller really wants to part with it. The market for these jackets is strongest in Japan and even there I wonder how many ladies will pay mega buck for this jacket. I emailed the seller about it being a ladies jacket and over priced but the listing remains the same.

Here is another jacket which the seller claims dates to the 1940s, with an unrealistic price. I think the heat wave in the UK has resulted in some summer madness!

Japanese guys will sometimes wear ladies small biker jackets, although the darts in the bust are against it.
