Leather name tags as originally issued

The tenth photo shows AAF leather name tags as-issued, apparently all attached to each other at one end. I never saw this before. One of us-- John?-- should pick this lot up for that rarity alone.

This is where eBay puzzles the absolute s&*t out of me? I have near on 1400 transactions on my CURRENT ebay ID. I have
my Aussie eBay one and two that went the way of the Dodo years ago.

I have paid over the odds for a few items, and had my fair share of bargains.

US$201 for what I would consider a grouping is a borderline insult. Please tell me that an Officer's personal effects and the
trunk they are stored in are worth stuff all. I would be sure international bidders would have found shipping to be a hassle,
but surely complete mini-collections like this with provenance do not pop up all the time?? The magazines and letters would
rate that much on eBay??
