Large shiny Irvin

Yep. Same seller. He pays premium prices for Irvins and quickly re-sells, often at a loss. Very strange chap I hear from those who have dealt with him.

I mean it's the same seller that sold the jacket a few days ago.

He has very strange selling practices and from my contact with him I personally don't trust him. I've often wondered what is his history with collecting Irvins as he has had a lot pass through his hands, yet he doesn't appear to know a lot about them.

He has unsuccessfully bid on a couple of my jackets (Irvins) before and I still get infrequent messages from him asking if I have any more to sell and yet he sells them off so fast it seems weird.

The seller seems to keep a strange selling behaviour, and some of his items seems to go sold for cheap... just to pop up again after a while.
but is the jacket OK?
I mean, is it a legit Irvin or a civi jacket (if it is possible to tell the difference), or what else?

This Irvin is absolutely legit. The seller bought it from a trusted enthusiast. The current seller is one Simon Swaffield who appears to buy an enormous number of Irvins either via Ebay or from collecotrs. Within hours of the arrival of said Irvin at his house he appears to take a few poor quality pics of the jacket with his phone (or as in this case use the previous seller's pics without permission) and list on Ebay. Generally he takes a big hit as serious collectors avoid him and others will not pay high prices for poorly presented jackets. He has pestered me for jackets and to end auctions early for him.

You could try a bid, but he may well pull the auction early if he does not think the jacket is going to sell for at least what he bought it for. Don't worry if this happens. It will just re-appear on Ebay a little later!
