Yes, I am the seller. Happy to answer any questions. Jacket no longer fits. Intent on finding it a new home. Reserve is under $300.

Thanks. It is a very nice jacket, but it is definitely not mint or New Old Stock. Would make a very solid daily wearer. Not many people look as good as this jacket at that age (60-plus years), to be sure. It looks like it's got several hundred cats-and-traps in Corsairs or Panthers.

Can ship to Canada. Was ripping through the posting this afternoon and pulled the lever against all international shipping out of habit. Our Northern ally deserves better and I will oblige happily.

Thanks for the reply
FYI at present , Canadians are blocked from bidding because of the US shipping only clause.

I tried to revise the item to allow international shipping, but it appears it cannot be done. My apologies.

Well, the jacket will soon be heading to Canada to join my ELC 1401 A2, ELC BOB Irvin and my original Waring Irvin
This is the second G-1 I have bought in a month.
Picked up a 1963 Irvin Foster for my wife to wear while she flies in the back of our 1940 Fleet Finch biplane.
I had never really been into G-1 jackets but in the past year have become more attracted to them , especially the rust colored fur collar ones. Don't know why really :? Guess the flight jacket obsession is growing ;)

This new addition does not have a Pritzker 55J14 label
Anyone know where I can get one for it :?:

PS It always feels good to put an original jacket back to use in a vintage cockpit where it belongs :D

I hope it meets your expectation.

Later this evening (9PM EST), I will be posting a marked size 44 7823-series California Sportswear and a marked size 46 L.W. Foster 7823 (AER).

Both in good condition and great daily wearers. Modest reserves for each. Open to European and Canadian bids.

For those who've inquired, the Monarch I had has been taken.

Also going up on Ebay this week are two additional G-1s.

First is a marked size 46 L.W. Foster 7823 (AER) contract N383s-74471 series USN Navy flight jacket. Goatskin is worn with some surface flaking on the shoulders and three small holes near the right shoulder (sub-quarter-sized). Knit armpit grommets (not metal). Knits also worn. Would need some restorative work.

Second is an unmarked G-1 with knit (not metal) grommets in the armpits, meaning it likely is an American Sportswear AN-6552 or L.W. Foster 7823 (AER). Worn goatskin, no holes. Very heavily scalloped pocket flaps.

My G1 that I bought from blaze arrived today.
Looks like it has been around the aviation game awhile ;)
It has wonderful grainy leather and the fit is perfect :)
At present it is hanging up after a treatment of Pecards to both preserve and soften the leather a bit.
Once I start wearing it, I'll post some pics of it along with my wife's Irvin Foster that I bought her

Thank you balze424
