I remember seeing a stall at Bedford arms fair many years ago which comprised of several mannequins and quite a number of heads all kitted out in WW2 RAF flying clothing, it was the most impressive stall I have ever seen at a fair, the only trouble was that items were not for sale individually and you had to buy the whole mannequin or the whole head (helmet, oxygen mask & goggles). Needless t say he didn`t sell a single thing.
Sadly, unless someone has very deep pockets most of these sort of collections end up being broken up.
Also can you imagine the import duty on a lot that expensive.
I virtually never buy from America or Canada for this reason.

I agree it is overpriced, but those are 3 very nice A-2's! Nice fighter squadron patches as well. He could probably split it all up into 4 separate groups and get close to 15k. When it comes to groupings of this size, they get tricky to keep together. I'm a purist and would love to see it all stay together, but the buyer would need a ton of space. This may be one of the rare instances that splitting into 3 lots may not be such a bad thing.
