Large ELC A-1 for sale

Not my item - just spotted trawling Ebay in case of interest.


ELC A-1 up for sale on EBay (Item 120617925388) tagged 46

Too large for me (although dimensions look large for a 46?), but I'm considering a smaller one at the moment.

Shoulders: 22"
Chest (pit to pit): 26"
Outer Sleeve Length: 24"
Total Length (down back): 26" (inc. Waist band).

The 44 is pretty snug, so a 46 is not really so big.

That's an awesome BIN price. I was actually saving for another GW A-2, when I got the bug to buy a M1 Garand (hopefully pick it up this weekend), but I almost pulled the plug on that purchase when I saw your A-1. I think if I didn't already have firm commitments on the M1, I'd have hit that BIN button. :cry:

Yes, they're short ... sometimes the sellers measure straight down with the jacket on a hanger, and they come up short.

True, I have made this mistake.
The best way is to use a cloth tape following the arm shape.

note that this is the older ELC A-1, not the capeskin version, it runs large - I emailed the seller ...............

aha, thanks for that tip Dave, I hadn't considered that as I always measure along the outside of the arm laying it flat out.

Had it been just a smidgen smaller I'd have been very happy to pay that...
