I really like the look of this one, but that pit to pit measurement looks snug for a 44 to me (unless the design is forgiving).

Surely that's not the correct zipper for a mid 30's jacket. Should it not be a triple marked Talon or an even earlier design ?

looks like the jac was made without a collar clip, and and the clip sewn in at some point later. interesting jac none the less. besides making jacs, didnt carl ort compose some kinda music also? hahahaha.

I used to own this jacket. This thread has more information about these private purchased A2s. The jacket was made no earlier than 1941 as it originally had a M41 Talon zipper.

Hmmm...
If 22" is kosher it's probably too trim. I prefer a 23.5" for comfort.
