Issued G-1 without fur collar!

Not seen one like this in person before. Military issued G-1 sans fur collar.
Obviously looks like a modern ANJ-3! At first, thought it was a G&B, but its not.
Owner apparently owned this since 1988 , traded for it whilst on deployment working with USMC / Navy fighter squadron.

This jacket is most definitely a jacket made for the military post exchange or PX. The PX often purchased production over runs of military jackets and the only differences from the military issued ones were small differences in zippers or buttons etc. The white labels with the “Care Instructions Tag” added just under the contract tag is a dead give away . In this case the PX purchased the jackets without a fur collar.
