Is this Eastman from Red Tails?

This is one of the most beautiful goatskin A-2s I've ever seen. Love the patina on this one. It's my size and I would buy it in a heartbeat if I had the extra funds. Was there a character named McFarlane in Red Tails? I can't think of another recent Hollywood production that would have used Eastman A-2s.

Don't recall that character...and can't find it in a search of the movies characters.
All the A2' jackets I recall from that movie had squadron patches on them.
Some other movie...or just a story the seller came up with to try to help sell the jacket?

There are stitch holes below the name strip where a squadron patch was removed. I could not find a McFarlane in the cast list on imdb. I suppose background extras would have name strips on their A-2s as well. You're right- the movie connection could be a story made up to make it interesting. Still...a nice Eastman for the price.
