Is this a new player or is it anyone on the forum?

There seems to be a new guy posting a few painted and patched USN jackets on EBay . Since you don’t see many painted and patched USN jackets, I was wondering who his new seller might be . Anyone heard of him?

I sure hope it ain't one of us, Burt!
I'm not sure if the seller hasn't done his research or if he thinks we haven't.
The 48 is painted with WW2 insignia but is clearly an E Model G-1.
The 46 is similarly adorned with WW2 or Korean-era insignia and is also clearly an E Model G-1.
The 42 is clearly a civi-repro and is adorned till bursting with patches! I mean, come on! The Spec number is "WW2"?

I sort of knew that Wei but I always have to be careful not to be too critical of stuff I see in Ebay because one time I opened my mouth and it belonged to one of the members . So I always test the waters first .;)

Surely to anyone here that ‘Made in the USA’ tag is a dead give away as a 80/90’s made garment. Had 2 Schott jackets bought back then with that tag!

A little late to the party.
Yes, of course it is clear that these are all attempts to make the jackets not what they were, especially since we all know that the back art on the G-1 practically didn't occur in the original, and if yes, then in no other cases, unlike the A2.
Instagram is full of modern works on painting the back on the G-1, but these are artists' accounts and they only do what the client wants, often worrying little about historical accuracy.
About patches on jackets of the 70s, I generally keep quiet:)

However, the first two fancy jackets are sold out.
