I think this jacket was made in the 1970s and is based on original patterns. It is far better than the subsequent offerings from Aviation Leather Craft. What a shame some of the details are incorrect, including the belt buckle. It's good to see you back here again George to promote your sales! Don't worry many of us do this!

Andrew! Good to be back! Wife was sick for a while but she is all better now. I agree with you regarding the hardware. It's too bad they weren't able to find a stash of NOS pieces when they decided to make it in the first place. It does feel like it's from the 1970's. It's in fabulous shape fortunately! I really don't think it's been worn much.

Oh, and you DO remember where the 16159 is going once you tire of it, right??
