Irvin relic or restoration project!

There should be laws against this kind of thing! I guess they really must have been cheap and cheerful at one time. Can any Irvin collector say what's the cheapest wearable Irvin he's ever bought and when? (mine was £570 in 2006)

I'm not an Irvin collector but I paid £210 for a really nice pre-war type a few months ago.

The cheapest decent Irvin I bought cost around £140 and was my ultra rare early 30s jacket with the original IAC lable. It was poorly listed and I took a gamble on it. Two years ago I paid £70 (BIN) for a 1940 Irvin which needed a patch repair to make it wearable.
