Have this listing here
http://www.ebay.com/itm/290810196719?ss ... 1555.l2649

notice the title:
M-422 M422 Jacket Willis & Geiger Bill Kelso G-1 G1 USN Navy A-2 A2 BU AERO

but it doesn't come out when I search ebay, no matter what search string I use
I tried

M422 jacket

and this is the result I get
http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_trksid= ... &_from=R40

tried also the following

Bill Kelso
BU Aero
A-2 Jacket
G-1 Jacket
Willis & Geiger

and nothing

what's the point of listing there and pay what fees they have
when the item doesn't appear in the searches.

Do you guys have any idea what is wrong?
or does it come up when you search?

Any help will be appreciated.

thanks

sometimes it take a few hours, or more for the listing to drift to all of the ebay sites. i brought it up, so it is listed....at least on ebay usa.

The same thing has happened to me many times. If the item has any WWII connection (even if it's a repro) it can take several hours to show up. When I posted these type items at 7:00-10:00 p.m. they don't show up until about 2:00 a.m. I called ebay the 1st time it happened and they said it's because that category has so many items posted that it takes time to catch up. However, that's bullshit because the regular clothing category has many more items and when I post items there they show up instantly. The real reason is they're worried about swastikas, SS runes, etc and they go through these listings before they are approved.

Probably a "naive" comment. When I use my iPhone ebay app I have to remove my memorized filters in the research engine, i.e. price, listing, condition...etc to see all the listed items. Anyway, I can see your listing using any word, here on ebay.it. :)

My search parameters for these jackets is "422 jacket" and it shows up on the US site. It also shows up on the UK site, under international sellers. It also shows up on the German Ebay site. But not on the Italian site, nor the French site, nor the Greece site, nor the Australian site, nor the Russian site, nor the Spanish site.

I just rechecked the Australian site, and in order to get it to come up, you have to go to the bottom of the page and click "See all matching items from international sellers". The same thing happens when on the the Spanish site, and I suspect all the other sites. (I couldn't find a similar link on the Russian site, but I don't read Russian.

It is almost worthless if it doesn't show up on the first search, who goes to the bottom of a page to do additional searches for international sellers?

Still does not appear here and I don't have any filters or anything.
The funny thing is that my previous listing (same jacket relisted now) about 2 weeks ago, was appearing normally.

I tried today connectint to ebay via US proxy server
did the search and the jacket appeared.
Also one more jacket from other seller appeared, that doesn't appear in my regular search.

I really don't understand what is going on, and I wonder to whom on earth I should complain about it.
Since I am paying listing fees, etc it should come out in the search results.

???
