Interesting WW2 civilian Aero A-2 neat label

I'm aware of two out at the USAF museum in Dayton, OH. Interesting that these were bought and used by military personnel during the war. They are identical to issue Aero A-2s except for the label and linings, and that they are of superior leather and workmanship. This Ebay A-2 appears to have a replaced zipper and knit parts, as well as repaired pockets stitched through the pockets.

This guy was a civilian flight instructor first, so it is not surprising that he had to buy his jacket.

I missed an original B-6 with an Aero civilian label a number of years ago. It went for very little. I'm still kicking myself about that one.
