Hi All
I need a US-based proxy bidder for a US jacket sale (BIN) that does not currently ship to UK.
Is anybody able to help please?
Thanks in advance.

Panic over - the vendor has agreed to ship to UK.

Yes, I'm getting predictable in my tastes

I'm still seeking a RMNZ or BR 37J1B (ideally the Zielinski contract with the salt wash) in a size that'll fit me, but I'm not holding my breath as it'll probably need to be a decent 44 (or XL/XXL in Japanese terms  ) and these are like hens' teeth.

In the meantime I've picked up a Willis & Geiger repro of the 37J1B, their fictional 'NA-1' contract (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/251210115806? ... 1423.l2648).

This is a 46 (pit to pit: 24", shoulders: 20", shoulder to waist: 27"), but with shortened sleeves (these are apparently 28" -across), it'll keep me happy until the day dawns when I might get the better repro.

Hi Alan

Ah, I see what you mean.

Yes, I'd seen the W&G A-1, but had decided against it. I like the cape, but the pattern is not close enough for me (the pockets are a bit large and high - and the pen pocket is on the 'wrong' side).

I'm really happy with my early 20s GW A-1, although I'll continue to look around for an ELC A-1 as a knit replacement project.

This 37J1B purchase is for the summer when it gets too hot even for cape - at the price I couldn't resist as even the W&G Bedford cord jacket is pretty hard to come by (albeit more common than the corresponding RMNZ Zelinski or BR seawash versions of the 37J1B in the Gaijin XL size).

Will post when I get it...
