someone have an idea about unit represented by the patch on 1st and 4th photos ???????????
and/or maybe a colorised version of those patches ?????????

The man in the first(top) photo is wearing the patch of the 22nd Air Transport Group, thier squadrons were the 77th,78th and 88th .
Sure wish I could make out the one patch the other guy is wearing that has the CBI and what appears to be a horse or ???????

Anyone know this one ????????

Thanks Guys, I think the last CBI could have a horse, but does it have a Japanese flag in its mouth? or is it a map of some kind? I can't find a better pic sorry.

Marcel , the patch with the Monkey and "22" is the 22nd Air Transport Group emblem, the same one the man in first photo is wearing. The "500" stands for the 500 pound bombs that are shown on the emblem.
I think the flag in the mouth of the "Horse" looking emblem may be the unit number .

P.S. Marcel, I have a color rendering of the 22nd "Monkey" emblem, but it's not loaded in my computer , it is full color and has all the details of the patch shown in the posted article here .
