Hugh size Irvin!

I've just come across this auction for a very large Irvin. The seller says its 26" pit to pit.

Yes, an Irvin for Hugh, a huge guy!

It's about the largest Irvin I have ever seen and as there are some large chaps out there keen to own an original this one will go for more than most I suspect.

Usually Irvins do not sell for nearly £2k, but I know from the seller, two larger guys were engaged in a bidding war sending the price right up. I just hope the price this one fetched does not push up the price of Irvins on Ebay, putting them beyond the reach of people here.

I was in the game in the beginning - until it got too insane for my wallet.
But it's always nice to know, that even if you did not win - you made another guy bleed!
