HPA B-6 and RAF

I had another opportunity to meet with Charles from HPA this evening. We had been trying to connect for several weeks and tonight apparently all of the planets aligned just right Charles was again very kind to meet me on a Saturday night. We spent at least an hour and a half talking in general before he allowed me to try on a B-6 for myself and an RAF which was purchased for my father. Meeting and being able to communicate directly with an owner of a company is really a rarity imo. It adds such a nice personal touch. Here are a few pics. Hope you enjoy them.

Thanks guys. I went up one size in the B-6. It's a 44R. I tried it with a thermal type long sleeve shirt and it is very comfortable.

If anyone has any pics of their B-6 or RAF with some wear on them please feel free to post them up.

Is that the .50 Cal Rough Wear redskin B-6?

It's a Roughwear redskin. I'm not sure if it's a .50 cal finish. It's a standard finish jacket. Hope that helps.

It is actually Eastman's take on what a B-6 would have looked like had RW made them in the War. They were never awarded a contract for a B-6. Only Aero produced redskin B-6 jackets in 1940 and 1941.
