How many times can you replace knits before the jacket is u/

I've been pondering this a while but have little experience. There must be a limit to the number of times you can replace knits though. Especially if you try to use the original stitch holes. I suppose uyou end up taking a little off the leather each time ?

I don't think there is a definitive answer, it is definately a finite number. each time will add more wear and tear.

When it wears thin, you can roll the leather under for fresh stitching. Then the question becomes, how short are your arms?
