I love the postwar hotrod scene photos. Always so much cool gear in evidence. In this one I can see a B-7, a B-15A and an A-2 plus a host of other great jackets and gear, and of course the racer made from a P-51 droptank. It must have been so much fun to be involved in.

I love this book, it's exactly where I'm at even at the tender age of 47 (I refuse to grow up). While I've always admired the re-enactor side of jacket collecting, the effort some put in to replicate the look is impressive to say the least, the combination of Flight Jackets, Repro Vintage Denim and 40's/50's shirts just nails it.
Thankfully "fashion" hasn't fully latched onto it yet
