This guy was asking $2K at SOS. It never moved. The jacket had a nice patch but was pretty salty, had no label, and had a replacement zipper. Collar might have been rotten as well IIRC.
Let the market speak! It might actually bring as much but only because it photographs far better than it appears in person IMO. Stony and I both passed.

No close up images of the jacket label or zipper... But at least they do show one cuff.
Even if the seller gets $2000 on eBay, he will lose around 15% from the fees. I've met many people who sell on eBay who don't seem to realize what the math works out to be by the time the funds are in their pocket.

This A-2 also comes with the uniform, but the ribbons were sewn directly onto it without their frames (just the cloth) and they were upside down and backwards. The squadron patch is pretty much the only cool thing about this jacket.
