Help identifying this leather

Hi Everyone,

Does anyone know what kind of leather this is? This is all I've got to show, does it look like steer-hide? Goat? Horse? What say the scholars?

looks like goat or water buffalo as used in commercial Indian or Pakistani jackets.

Thank you. In terms of quality, where do those types of hides land compared to hides from Japan, Western Europe or North America? I have no experience with them.

Usually they are not as good as South American’s hide, but, Pakistan goat skin not included.
