Help identify m442a jacket

Hi, I bought this cheap a few years back, it has no label. judging by the stitch holes it has been relined, replacement AERO zipper, replacement cuffs. It has a United Carr popper on the inside pocket with a cream lining. The front two pockets have a dark green lining. Black USN stamp on the back of the collar.

Judging by collar shape and black USN stencil I'd voteit's an Edmund Church M422a.
Dave Sheeley would be da man to confirm what it is.

Yes, an Ed Church. Looks like an excellent restoration candidate. I have one I’m fixing to restore that had a quilted lining installed back in the 50’s-60’s.

It is indeed an Ed Church, which I think later became Burjac. The two most obvious tell-tales are the black USN and extea deep pocket flaps. The leather looks lovely, with fantastic shine. Once renovated that will be very nice! Its a pity the zip has been replaced so poorly in the past, but no big deal..

If the leather's in good sound condition, you definitely have a diamond in the rough! I posted this earlier, but here's a Church that received new mouton, lining and knits.

Sweet! If I get any free time soon I’m going to do mine. Already have a NOS Talon zip & a NOS waistband set back for it. Only been about 15 yrs since I bought the jacket!
