Help ID/value of this shearling flight jacket?

Hey all, I can't find this anywhere online, especially in a purple colorway. It has the same tag as this Avirex but without the Avirex branding so I'm confused. Damn near weighs 50 pounds. I can't find anything online so I'm struggling here. Got it for 14.99 at the thrift store.

Thank you for any help. I've added a pic of the Avirex tag to compare to mine.

Well ... you got a steal at $14.99. At that price I wouldn’t care who made it , you can’t go wrong for that amount of money.

BTW .. Welcome to the VLJ Forum , look around , read some posts , I guarantee you’ll find something of interest to you here.:)
