Hello , hopefully I can get a bit more info on this recent score.As far as I know it is a Harley Davison made jacket from thier Sporting Goods catalog ,dates around late 1940s to early 1950s .The letterman / Collage jacket with button up enclosure dates it as an early example, based around what the A-1 was avaliable at the time and from the sporting big Letter Sweaters / cardigan .The knits are thick wool and leather sleeves are calf skin soft and supple with calico lined side entry pockets.the letter is attached to the body prior to the liner so not stitched through.the label is age correct as far as I know .if anyone has any more information that would be great.Overal a fantastic original jacket
