I liked it a lot better than some of the ones that are offered by other manufacturers. Some of them go a bit too far with the whole "contrasting leather", with either burgundy or carmel colored leather with a dark sheepskin.

I think Eastman does, too. AL and The Few make ones with the odd contrasting colors.

No, Eastman's version has always had contrasting trim. The early ones even had Steerhide russet trim.
