I notice some familiar phrases in the listing! It dates from 1941-2, rather than from the Battle of France/Battle of Britain era. The larger collar rings, large rivets on the zip, shape of the collar certainly suggest DGL. You are correct about the size being a 5 ot 6. Good luck with it.
