this is another great - wonderful one. I guess once I get on a selling roll, I can't stop listing (this is IT though) but honestly, there are some very tempting aviation related purchases I am considering .................. Amazed to say that with all of this for sale, I still have plenty of jackets - geeezzzzz!

No "working over" by me except a spray bottle rubbing alchohol on just a few seams and wear.

If you're after a decent price I'd advise not list all the similar sizes at in one fell swoop. I'd be liable to list them one at a time and check out if there are any others on the bay also.

Mind you if money is not a concern then bung them all on at once.

thanks - its really hard to say as I have seen multiples go for lots of cash but its a good point. the main issue is finding the time to list which I have this week and then that's it for quite some time.

I did a quick count going back to when I bought my first Good Wear and the total number I have owned is 13. :roll:

I will have 3 after these sales.

Its been fun!

Don't get me going on how many of the other makers I have owned over the years.

I think in the 20 range for ELC's :?

Quite a few originals back in the day (I need an old man smiley here) :geek:

have 4 wearable originals now

So, not huge numbers but things always change. My overall aviation collection is very large if you throw in artwork, patches, etc.

A really fun hobbie (just a bit crazy though).

Anyway, you might want to make a little alteration to the listing, you've mentioned a Crown zipper in there. If a Conmar was used on a GW, weren't they all NOS Conmars? Mine certainly looks like a NOS Conmar... or else its an immaculately perfect copy, indistinguishable from an original to my eyes.

CBI: 13 GWs? Most impressive! You must have had multiple jackets on order? Otherwise I don't know how you managed to take delivery of 13 separate jackets. Were some of them test jackets? In any event, you deserve to have a frequent buyer card--buy 10 jackets and the 11th is free! :lol:

I had planned to bid on this one, but of course I was called into a meeting right before it ended. Seeing what it sold for makes me even a little more upset . Sure wish I could have bumped it up a little for you CBI. That was a pretty good deal for someone.

Yes, but not too bad since I got a deal on it when purchased. Already shipped off to the UK!
