I got this rather poor copy of a photo from a WW2 vet, who said he got it from another vet. Anyway, sorry for the quality--I've tried to "clean" it up a little.
General George S. Patton was quoted as saying that when he got to the Rhine River he was going to urinate in it (he did not use the word "urinate" however--he used a much shorter word!). This purports to be a photo of him actually doing--or preparing to do--just that when he and the army finally arrived there. I don't know the origin or who took it originally. Interesting though. If anyone has any further info on this photo please feel free to post it.
