Found a couple of interesting Patches .

Was having dinner at a place called Mission BBQ tonight . If you’ve never been there and you have one near by , you should take the opportunity to stop in for lunch or dinner . It’s decorated with military and first responder items , photos and other artifacts . See below

Anyway I found a couple of interesting patches to share with you guys . Here they are .

I was referring to the Korea and VMF patches.

Can't help with the Korean War era patches - not my area of interest. However, they do look original and from what little I do know are Japanese made silk with bullion detailing.

Burt, first with Skyraider is USMC VMA-121 patch, Japanese made, circa 1952.

The second USMC VMF-311 Fighter Squadron also looks like original piece period Korean War.

That’s pretty cool. The original patch I photographed is hanging in the wall of the Mission BBQ restaurant in Jacksonville Fl.
