Flying Tiger A-2 at USAF Museum

Some close-ups of one of the A-2s on display at the National Museum of the US Air Force, Wright-Patterson AFB, Dayton, Ohio. There are easily over a dozen jackets on display there in various places, from WWI to the present. This is in a Flying Tigers display case near the P-40 Warhawk in the WWII gallery. It’s the only one not on a manikin so you can see the label.

pretty cool. Thanks for sharing. Very clear in those pics that this particular jacket was NOT aniline dyed. Aniline dyed leather ages much differently. That is pigment finished. Still can see some sheen to it where it has not worn off completely.
