Flight jackets and Panther tanks

I posted these a long time ago, maybe on the old forum so apologies to those who have seen them before. The photos show P-47 pilots examining Panther tanks they had destroyed in France 1944. I thought the photos were unusual as it's not often you see flights and German armour in the same photo.

most likely a P-47 Fighter/Bomber unit getting a chance to take an "upclose" look at thier Tank busting work!
