First of all I want to Thank you all for making our attention towards these rare jackets reproductions, From Some Time upon request of few members here we were working on a Reproduction of M444 jacket, we made this jacket's first prototype
and I am posting its detailed images below for your reference to comment and suggest on

We used our 20-22 mm thick hairs fleece on the construction of this jacket

Making of its Collar area was most tricky part in the making of this jacket

Label was designed on the recommendations of Mr. @ties70

Looking for your review and recommendations on next prototype.

Since its a house pattern, and not a specific contract, it could be considered correct, but maybe the pocket flaps are a little too tall?

As I always mix these up, which is the heavier shearling? The 445 or the 444?

M445 is the Navy equivalent of the USAAF B3.
M444 is more like a B6 with 10 mm fleece

It does appear to be an exponential rate of improvement and turning an original into a decent reproduction is taking no time at all....

I may have missed it, but who is the maker of the m444 that you're using as a guide for your new m444 shown in the photo in post #15 above?

It's great news that this will be available in 10 mm fleece!

OK, flap depth is good, but comparing those two, the pocket flap corners are square on the original, and rounded on the Five Star, or at least that’s how it looks in the pic. Otherwise, looks terrific.

I ended up looking for examples of pocket flaps after wondering, and most seemed slightly shorter to my eye, but then I saw this one. Not my jacket or pic, just a closs up of the flop. I had no questions on the rounding,
