"Fury" is certainly having in impact on prices!

Sold my BR 40R for under $300. Still have 44R here. Have an open offer locally; however, I don't know if a WWII Impressions will fill the void. I know their quality is really up there these days.

So many props popping up for super prices. I wonder how the price of armour has gone. I know of a LTCOL here who provided a half track for 'The Pacific'. His income for the loan of the vehicle surpassed the purchase price and facilitated a complete rebuild and repaint. Lucrative for those who have invested in the right places.

I just want one of those MG-42s....and someone else to pay for the ammo, and of course to clean it. :D

Dear Lord. What a total piece of junk. I'd be reluctant to pay $60 for it, never mind $6000.

What if Brad Pitt scrawled all over the front of it in thick texta?

Same thing happened after "Band of Brothers".
Prices on repro as well as original jackets and trousers went sky-high.
Even I got swept away in the current.
Bought a Parachute wing with two "jump-stars" at the evil pay, worn - not in WWII - but during the filming!
Cheap? Not exactly! (How stupid can one person be?)

My only hope is that Hollywood doesn't plan anything with RAF and Battle of Britain.
Like a movie where two american pilots shoot down the whole Luftwaffe and win Battle of Britain - all by themselves....
Oh no, don't give them any ideas!
The price on Irvin's are high enough.

Don't bust your chops about that. The cost of props, costumes, etc, can be quite expensive and a whole niche market onto themselves.

Yeah, especially if it came with documentation - it should if it was authorized by a studio to be sold.
Movie collectibles will always be a going concern in their own right.
