Lint and bobbles?
Any of those on a Goodwear A-2 or original ( all original knits ) A-2?
My experience, as long as the knitting is 100% wool you never have lint nor bobbles.
It only happens with poly blends.
My way to eliminate them on my issued Saddlery A-2, is to „ burn „ them, with a lighter.
By doing so, the thread is also „sealed“ and not left open like when „shaving“.
Of course one has to be very careful and a bit of experience is required.
Start training or trying on an old „ garbage „ jacket…
But it works extremely well once one has the skills and know-how.

Burt, lol… leather and solidly brick/concrete/stone houses dont burn that easily  .. unless the electric car in the garage fuels it :)

You can also do it outside…again with care and a bit of training on a garbage jacket… but it works very well . Try it.
