It's all in the attitude.... It's not what you wear, it's how you wear it...

If Pam Hogg can have green hair in a catsuit and get away with it, pappy can look in style in his B-6 jacket...;)

Riding a bobber will also help...

I been seeing that guy in my Instagram feed for the last couple years

I find this whole idea about “how and what to wear and at what age so damm stupid
All my life there has been some self appointed experts in style and fashion giving
Advice often contradictory about wearing jeans with a tie, boots with a suit the type
Of suitable wrist watch you wear with your clothes the age you should stop wearing leather blah blah blah
Be different by not being different stand looking like the other dufus
I say this is your one ride through life (unless you believe in reincarnation)
Wear what you want if people don’t like it it’s usually because they are afraid of standing out
And jealous they lack the stones to stand out

Blimey, a link to Boy's Own on this board! I have their fanzine compilation book and some great records from back in the 90s when Weatherall was actively involved with them. I'm pleased to see whoever wrote the piece has good taste in clothing not too dissimilar to mine.

Wetherall R.I.P. London ‘87 & ‘88 ‘On one’ before the teds took over. Spectrum, Future & Loud Noize...
In a year of some big losses, Weatherall's unexpected death probably hit me the most. Since the turn of the century he's been, for me, purely an online (for the last 5 years his NTS show keeping me abreast of much of what was worthy in new music) and on-record presence, while back in the 90s, in addition to some landmark releases, it was places like his club for those who weren't really clubbers Disgraceland, and live performances by the Sabres and TLS. And as far as style and clothing was concerned, he definitely knew what was what.

Played the music we liked, wore the clothes we like. I only heard him in the early days @ Future, Spectrum, Destination Moon etc... & bit later at Sabresonic. Beyond Balearic, EDM was too much for me personally. A cool artist died way too young.

I assumed it meant "Size 50 and you're out"...due to the problems finding a well fitting flight jacket over size 48
