Excellent Repro Patches - low prices on eBay

Gents - National Capitol Historic Sales has some great looking "theater made" leather and cloth patches on eBay. Great prices and some really nice items. Some pieces are better than others but a very "folksy" theater made authentic look on some items.

George has replicated a lot of great patches recently. While the prices are pretty steep, they are unobtainable anywhere else.
Some rare WWII stuff and the range of USMC and USN corpsman stuff has been on the watch list for years. George copped
some flak for pushing 'Vietnamese' made patches in the late 90s. Not boasting about provenance, but not stating they were
recent either. Mr. Dung at the Dan Sinh markets in Ho Chi Minh City and George had a lucrative thing going, until the word
spread... But he has shed his ways of days gone and now uses his talents for 'niceness'.

Couchy is right, George hasn't always been straight forward regarding his patches being reproductions but over the last few years that has changed. I haven't dealt with him personally but know others who have and they were very pleased. This current AVG stuff is OK as far as the look, I'm sure in a few years some guys will be trying to pass this stuff off as original!
