Thanks to SteveM422A for this cherry piece. Despite the look on my face Im super happy with it. Its breaking in nicely and Im starting to shape the collar. Bugz is growing on me too  Also it seems that cool hats go with cool jackets so here is my submission

Sharp jacket, and a neat patch, to boot. I imagine the whole package will come together a lot more favorably after the jacket catches up with the patch, in terms of having a worn in look. It could be the picture, or more likely my amateur eye, but the leather has a relaxed look to it, but no really Broken in. I've never even seen an Eastman in person, though.

Without getting into the ins and outs of what I've read about the Eastman ordering experience, it's a shame not seeing a couple 'attaboys' over this jacket. If nothing else, it does seem like Eastman is the go-to for the "I gotta have it and I gotta have it RIGHT NOW!" purchasing needs.

Thanks kiltie, I have no experience with Eastman directly, because I bought it second hand. Nor do I have any experience with any of the other jacket manufacturers but I recognize quality in garment construction and this jacket is really nice. The leather is soft and smooth, very pleasing to the skin and wears great.

Looks good on you. I bought the jacket and had it patched. Then realised that I prefered a plain jacket. So I only wore it 5-6 times in total.
Enjoy.

Here's a quick photo of my ELC RW 27752 taken about 6 months ago......breaking in nicely.

Looks like a keeper, take it on a couple of walks in drizzly rain and it will break in quicker and conform to your body & arms.
Aren't those seal jackets a bit more water resistant when new, with that shiny appearance?

Thanks guys. I don't know about water resistance, but the humidity here is almost 100 % every night so a few night time strolls with the dog ought to do it some good.

The jacket is well cool. You can't go wrong with the 324th bomb squadron but the hat is like something my bible thumping grandfather would have worn to church in the 70's. Sorry, just my opinion.

 Sounds like he's got good taste! Its the only vintage hat I had. Found it in an antique store a few years ago, I thought it looked more 60's than 70's but, I am saving my pennies for a RW B-2, or an old Bancroft. Ill be sure to update as soon as possible

Glad you said it. ;) Definitely not the right vintage.

Re: hat

Tacky,tacky fellas... But...
Say medic, what size hat you wear. Also, as saving pennies goes: does anybody know if Diamond still does the Fortress model? I'd put that up against the likelihood of finding a Bancroft in minty shape for the $$$.
