That's the best photo I've seen of the EASTMAM label; one can see the last letter clearly is an M and not a slightly off N.

The fabled "Eastmam" jacket is now a proven reality ! It's definately an M but it's in a different font to the first M. Curious.

Yes, the width is that of an N (the M is slightly wider) but one stitch is in the wrong place turning it into an M.
